Save old world/random values instead of setting to null in case of nested calls (maybe caused by cascading chunk gen? who knows)
Inline the super implementation directly in case some other mod messes with it, this avoids doing a set to null/reset dance around the saved world object too
Add NPEs with explicit messages which variable is null for better Thermos/old java server crashlogs
