Does not charge in Factorio 0.17.58 #14

Just installed in 0.17.58, the pads do not seem to work, they pull a bit of electricity the moment they are laid down, then nothing. I turned off all other mods, same behavior.

Hi, i've just tested this on 0.17.58, and it's working fine for me. Are you using the latest version of the mod? What are you trying to charge (person/vehicle, what kind of power suit equipment)?

deimosian commented 5 years ago

Downloaded from the mod from the game's built in mod distribution system, it shows mod v0.17.5

I'm using the Low power induction station to try and charge Modular Armor with a Low power induction coil and a few batteries.

The station's energy bar does not fill, it just stays empty.

I've just tested it again with a fresh download from the ingame mod portal, and it works fine here. No other mods, both in a new game (sandbox) and existing save.

On what version of the game was it last working for you? In Factorio 0.17.35 the 'player' was renamed to 'character', but that was fixed in version 0.17.5 of the 'lib'. Are both the main mod and the 'lib' on the latest version (0.17.5)?

Try to fiddle around a bit with all the items from the mod; remove them from the world/armor and place them again.

As there is no error i can't really do much else for you, sorry.

I haven't used it before, so no previous working state for me.

I tried using a downloaded zip package instead of the Steam copy and got the same results.

Are you on Windows or another OS?

Necroing this, same issue in Factorio 0.17.79. Downloaded from ingame mod portal. Station stays at 0 j, 0 watts, does not charge my armor grid that has an induction coil inside.
