Nexus One graphics error: Menus not loading #1

Repro Steps:
1. Start up Quake 2
2. Tap 'Start Quake2'
3. Quake 2 loads and shows intro animation.
4. Touch the screen
5. Screen grays out, game becomes irresponsive

Most likely a resolution issue. Some areas of the screen display right 
triangles filled with red.

Exciting project!

many user reported it's not working correctly on the Nexus. But I didn't manage 
to
figure the problem from the logs.

Same problem here with this log that someone sent to me.

The strange thing is the screen size reported by Quake 2 :

02-24 01:06:00.408 I/Quake2  (16893): screen size : 533x320

The same problem occurs on the HTC desire which is to be expected I suppose.

Hi, just wanted to contribute a little. The menu definitely is loading, and I 
can 
navigate through it, and actually play the game, it's just that it isn't 
rendering 
properly. It is rendering as half transparent, half opaque squares, which makes 
me 
think that there is just something wrong with the textures, not the menu/game 
itself.

Playing the game is alright, but the controls need a little reworking. If it's 
possible, make the trackball the aim + shoot, and accelerometer strafing.

Same problem, HTC desire!

I managed to start the game some how, but the hud and alot of textures was 
missing.

Hope you will manage to fix it :)
