GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start Activiti 5.5 Demo
2. Open Activiti Modeler (signavio) in IE8 (obviously on windows, I'm using
WIndows 7 64 bit, Enterprise)
3. Click on an ootb process
4. Click on the thumbnail for the process

What is the expected output?
Expect to be able to edit the process or to receive a warning indicating the
browser is not supported.

What do you see instead?
A popup window is displayed with a tomcat exception.

The URL for the popup window:

s;EasyBugFilingProcess;EasyBugFilingProcess.signavio.xml

With the following message:

It is technically not possible to support IE8.

You have other places where you display a warning dialog rather than a
nasty container error. How about doing that in this case?
