Ran into issues installing this as lens fails to build #2

Seems to be a problem with lens and template-haskell-2.8.0. I will investigate further

Is building ok locally for me with template 2.8.0.0 and lens 3.9.0.2. Travis hook is offline right now, so I don't know about 7.4ish builds.

Happy to help track it down.

What version of ghc are you on Tony?

I installed that version from and it works fine. Bit of a shame that 7.4.1 is borked though.

7.4.1 is what I always use and it's the default for Debian stable. We should investigate this more closely because Debian stable is my "lowest common denominator" platform to target.
