Arnold 5 support #11

Hi.

@Gael-Honorez-sb Have you guys considered porting to arnold 5 (mtoa 3.*) at all? We've used abctoa for a while now, but we're switching to arnold 5.

It seems that the alembic holder itself becomes a bit obsolete with the new gpucache support, however the shader manager is still a great tool.

I'm not planning to support this project further. The goal would be to have a working MaterialX exporter in maya and use that with Arnold Operators. Up to Autodesk.

But if you want, there is branch working on Arnold 5.0 that convert the whole shader assignations through operators (and make it compatible with the official alembic procedural) :

It's not feature complete (it's lacking attribute modifications), but it should work.

I figured as much and frankly it makes absolute sense. We'll have a look at the branch.
