"Error creating repo" importing p/sim1 #138

Trying to import code.google.com/p/sim1 I am getting

Aw, Snap!

There was an error migrating the project to GitHub.

The error is as follows:

Error creating repo.

The login credentials are fine on github with a newly-created user.

Any ideas?

SOLVED: I hadn't verified the email address of the new github user.

Can close - maybe useful in a "what does this error message mean" FAQ.
