We don't seem to understand the sun aspect angles, as we cannot reproduce the ones in the pointing files from Euclid. RM has put in an inquiry to Ismael Tereno and is hoping for clarification. This has implications for what exposures can be simulated, and would be good to resolve even if we use a workaround for now (to use the ones from the pointing files rather than our calculation).

Documenting here an update: we have learned that the RSD files give the pointings in ecliptic rather than equatorial coordinates, and are investigating whether the misunderstanding about the coordinates can fully explain the difficulty reproducing the SAA values.
