Legend entries are truncated #498

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Compile Plot Gallery-Mac
2. Start the Plot allery
3. Select the Colored Bar Chart example

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- The legend for the bar chart is not showing the full text for the individual 
entries. I expect that they are numbered from "Bar 1" to "Bar 8". "Bar 1" and 
"Bar 7" are only displayed as "Bar"
- This is something that also happens in my own applications that certain text 
is truncated. I cannot see a logic behind it.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- Core Plot 1.1
- OS X 10.8.2
- MacBook Air 1.8 Hz Intel Core i7, 4GB RAM

Please provide any additional information below.
Really powerful framework and very easy to start with the examples! If you need

I think some of the changes made since the 1.1 release may have fixed this 
issue. Can you pull the latest code with Mercurial and test using that version 
of Core Plot?

The latest version seems to have solved this problem. I have tested this with 
the example application. When will an official version be released? It seems 
that the code is still unstable. One of the bar charts crashes in the provided 
example apps. Therefore I will wait to integrate this version into my software.

Which example is crashing? What version of Xcode did you use to build it?

Was the crash in the Donut Chart in the Plot Gallery app? If so, I just fixed 
that.

Just downloaded the latest sources again. I can confirm that the crash in the 
donut does not occur anymore.
