Could you clarify? it's marked as fixed.
Check the 'See also' field .. that one is still open. I think this was a general "we need a QA notice" style bug...
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=546614 for reference. That's a tough nut to crack. I don't know if it can be handled in an automated way except for shaming upstream maintainers into fixing it.
Could we maybe throw out an automated email, and see what comes back?!
That may not be well-received as automated email is often considered spam.
I believe a valid strategy is to put up a list or something with a list of packages still requiring ancient autotools stuff and email upstreams directly. Some of the stuff using ancient autotools may be dead.
I think we'll stick that on the QA list Project with EAPI fixes, and such. Tagging @awilfox and we'll throw up another wiki page for it a-la EAPI somehow. Need some awk-fu foxy ;) until my python tree-walking lib is up-and-running.
