Issue: When landing at Nara, frame drops start at ~500m/s, stop at ~2km altitude. With Scatter Density setting at 50%, framerate drops from 60fps to 7fps. With that setting at 25% the frame rate drops to 13fps.

I have recently experienced somewhat similar problem with latest Kopernicus 1.8.1-1 but completely different rescale mod (something like 3.2x scale 6.4x distances with Sigma Dimensions). Worked absolutely fine on Kerbin but unplayable on Duna, especially on Linux. Performance drop was noticeable even without any visual enhancements at all (no EVE, no scatterer, nothing) albeit not so bad (from 100fps to ~50).

Found a theory that it is related to increased size of loaded terrain details (same amount of chunks as in stock but each chunk much larger because of rescale).

Late at night I somehow managed to land on Duna with all visual enhancements and rescale with 60-100 fps but don't know how :( Possibly the same issue as was (is?) in Sigma Dimensions: https://github.com/Sigma88/Sigma-Dimensions/issues/81

Same problem here.
