GalliumOS never expects to boot on other non-Chrome hardware, and, in fact, probably won't work on other hardware (I've tried lots of other hardware, I've never gotten it to boot or run properly). GalliumOS is for Chromebooks, not anything else, and while it sucks that Linux support for non-Chrome Bay Trail sucks, we're not the right people to find support for it. Sorry.
it would be cool to run the baytrail iso also on other baytrail computers - not only google chromeOS devices - like my Cenovo - http://www.gearbest.com/tv-box-mini-pc/pp_187681.html, and there are now hundreds of other devices out there.
But they are very special - its only possible to boot USB-sticks made with rufus in "GPT partition scheme for UEFI computer" - http://www.cnx-software.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Rufus_Ubuntu_Bay_Trail.jpg
when I try to make this mode with GalliumOS baytrail iso, I get the info, that the iso is not UEFI - it would be cool to add this possibility - normal Ubuntu iso has this possibility, but normal Ubuntu does not work on those devices....
