LINK: CPU fan stops working after "suspend" #338

Open vbdevpro opened 7 years ago

vbdevpro commented 7 years ago

I've seen several posts regarding the suspend resume issue but I didn't see any that specifically identified this issue. After the last update, my Google pixel 2013 LTE (LINK) seems to lose fan cooling after resuming from a "suspend", though as others have reported, it doesn't really seem to suspend, but rather it turns off completely. Also, oddly, the keyboard back lighting stops working.

If I shut down properly rather than close the lid or allow the device to "suspend", everything works properly after booting.

Thanks for the good work you guys do. It is greatly appretiated.

Running the custom firmware from Mr. Chromebox and I can confirm that it's still an issue.

On a somewhat related note, when booting from a cold start my LINK's keyboard backlight will turn on and immediately turn off -- this lets me know that the fan is not working. Rebooting after this always yields a working backlight and fan.
