GalliumOS 3.0alpha1 Baytrail Issues #446

GalliumOS 3.0alpha1 ISO install, CANDY, MrChromebox Full Rom

I have found what I think are bugs.

  1. when using a browser, (chromium or chrome) sometimes it freezes and will not let me scroll until I click on the scroll bar on the side of the screen, then it un-freezes.

  2. EDIT: Battery drains very a lot faster.

  1. System is much more susceptible (compared to galliumOS 2.1) to becoming unresponsive due to high memory usage. For example, with GalliumOS 2.1, I could open maybe 8 tabs in Chromium before things would start to get a bit slow, but my mouse responsiveness never changed, but with Gallium OS 3.0 alpha1, it only takes about 4 tabs open in Chromium to get slowdown, and the mouse pointer itself will stop moving for up to a minute or so at times of high activity like loading a web page that has lots of javascript running, also alt-tab is delayed at the same time -- essentially the system becomes unusable until it is able to chug through whatever it is doing (swapping memory, ???) 2) The audio control keyboard buttons worked perfectly under GalliumOS 2.1, but they don't work at all with GalliumOS 3.0 alpha1. Sound control through the desktop volume control applet works fine, and sound itself otherwise works. I just can't adjust volume using the dedicated keyboard buttons like before.
