Google OS 70.0.3 causes RW_LEGACY not to work

dell 13 (7310)

FLASHES RW_LEGACY --> power button doesn't work ---> press shutdown in OS ---> white screen (stays like this till I hold the power button ----> at the dev boot up screen ctrl+l leads to a frozen screen of blue and black

Originally when I had flashed the bios it did not work for me as well. If I may ask, did you use Mr. Chromebox's method or a different method, I found that using Chromebox's method did not work. So what I did is I rolled back the firmware by installing from the net using the script and then i reenabled all the flags and started over using Lewis's firmware.

First I would check to make sure your device is compatible. https://johnlewis.ie/custom-chromebook-firmware/rom-download/

Then use this to install, and flash RW_Legacy firmware. cd; rm -f flash_chromebook_rom.sh; curl -L -O https://johnlewis.ie/flash_chromebook_rom.sh; sudo -E bash flash_chromebook_rom.sh

This is relevant for our support docs, if we can repro it. I don't have an RWL LULU to test.

I agree, but this is a common model, it's been 6 months, and we have no other reports of this. Plus I'm desperately trying to clean up this tracker :sweat_smile:
