The battery icon of Xfce power manager always stay at 100%. I can only see the real battery charge by right click on it now. (Please keep working on this project. I want to donate but Paypal not support donate in Japan. This os helped me a lot, please don't let it just stop at 3.0a2.)

Hardware: ASUS Chromebook C300 ID: QUAWKS Firmware is from MrChromebox Nightly build 3.0a2 for Bay Trail CPU

I have the same issue on: Hardware: Samsung Chromebook 3 16gb version (CELES) BIOS MrChromebox 4.9. galliumos-braswell-bismuth-3.0beta2-20190408T014828Z.iso

With 64% remaining, I still show a battery icon completely full. Not a big deal, of course, but mildly annoying.

Edited to add: If it goes below 50% it does update. Looks like it's 75% instead of 50%, but it does actually change.

I find this frustrating as well, but I'm quite certain that it is the intentional behaviour of Xfce.

We patched the Xfce default to update the battery status icon in 10% increments, IIRC. These modifications are apparently no longer working, but should be possible to revive.
