Acer 14 CB3 431 Touchpad stopped working #499

I just installed 3.0 beta. All seemed to be working OK. While using Claws mail, it locked up (twice). Rebooted. After that, touchpad works only by clicking, not the usual touch maoeuvres.

I've got something similar affecting my Acer R11 CBS 132T. The trackpad stops working after about 1.5 hours of use. Rebooting the machine fixes the issue.

Reinstalled 3.0. Trackpad generally works OK, but occasionally freezes. This happens when I am doing mail online. Minor inconvenience to reboot, and then it's OK.
