Tiny fonts in menus etc. #501

Recently reinstalled 3.0 on Acer Chromebook 14", CB3 431. On pop-up menus, the on-screen fonts are so tiny I can hardly read them. I have gone into Settings, Appearanc and increased font size to 18, but it doesn't seem to affect these pop-up windows. In addition, I have installed LibreOffice (current version) and the toolbar menus etc. are also tiny. Went onto the LibO discussion/help pages and they say this is an issue with the OS, not with LibreOffice. Any way to increase these?

I have a LINK (original Pixel) with the super-hi res screen. Couldn't see anything without a magnifying glass, so I changed the screen resolution until it was acceptable.
