Caroline sdhci empty slot tracking issue

Caroline/UEFI (MrChromebox-4.9 01/04/2019) Fresh install of 3.0beta2 via ISO.

Intentionally leave the microSD slot empty, to observe:

mmc1: Timeout waiting for hardware cmd interrupt. mmc1: sdhci: ============ SDHCI REGISTER DUMP =========== etc.

As expected from #274

From this fresh install:

• galliumos-update && reboot
  • problem persists
• enable testing repo, galliumos-update && reboot
  • problem persists
• rm /etc/modprobe.d/sdhci.conf && update-initramfs -u -k all && reboot
  • problem fixed!
• restore /etc/modprobe.d/sdhci.conf && update-initramfs -u -k all && reboot
  • problem returns!
• rm /etc/modprobe.d/sdhci.conf && update-initramfs -u -k all && reboot
  • problem fixed!

I think the combination of:

• kernel 4.16.18-galliumos3
• removing the sdhci.conf: SDHCI_QUIRK_BROKEN_CARD_DETECTION setting
• being careful to regenerate your initramfs

fixes the behavior...

Confirmed on CAROLINE and SENTRY. Updated galliumos-skylake pkg is available now in prerelease repo.

If your pkg updates after linux-image-4.16.18-galliumos=4.16.18-galliumos3, you may need to run the initramfs command manually.
