Issue:
I've tried all chromebook-based keyboard layouts in xfce to no avail. Whether chromeOS media keys or f-keys are made default, the F5 key in particular does not work with a clean install of GalliumOS.
Is there a reason why this is not part of the default GalliumOS distribution? Both chromeOS media keys and function keys work fine after the linked change.

I tried the fix mentioned in the following thread, and it worked perfectly!
