Which "upgrade website" are you referring to? It's not mentioned on the official release announcement at wiki.galliumos.org, and the only mention I could find of such a tool was on the /r/galliumos release announcement. I don't believe the script was ever released (though we did have a 1to2 script when GalliumOS 2.0 came out back in 2016). GalliumOS 3.x had a rough development period (over 1 year from the first alpha to the 3.0 release, and over 2 years from 2.1 to 3.0) and our efforts going forward are going to be focused on getting GalliumOS 4.0 out the door a little faster. I'll ask everyone else what they'd like to do about the lack of upgrade path from 2.x to 3.x, but for now I'm going to close this issue and recommend reinstalling. I will try to make sure that an upgrade path from 3.x to 4.0 is ready shortly after that version is released, however.
Thanks for clarifying by adding that link. I clearly overlooked that page when I was looking around :upside_down_face:
I searched both GitHub and Google, but did not find anything regarding whether the
galliumos-upgrade-2to3
script was actually released. Has it been? If so, where?I recognize that this is not the recommended upgrade path. But it is indicated on the upgrade website as an option. Thanks.
