chromebook 14 alloc magic is broken error #571

hello there. I just try to get the last version of GalliumOS in my Chromebook 14 CB3-431, and I follow all the procidure. So when I try to boot from the usb port with galliumos in, it comes this message:

error: unknown filesystem alloc magic is broken at 0x78cc97c0: 78bee080 aborted . press any key to exit.

So it is impossible to use the usb for the moment.

there is anyone that can help me with these issue? I am completely new with Linux , hope you understand. thanks for it.

the chromebook is a braswell. I have used Mrchromebox for the firmware. And I did a USB iso for the boot.

Seems that not any pro in Gallium knows about it??

This is a typical failure mode for a corrupt write to USB. Have you checked the troubleshooting steps at https://wiki.galliumos.org/Installing/Creating_Bootable_USB#Troubleshooting ?

reynhout. thank you so much for your email and link . It has been soooo helpful. likely it was a problem with the usb port that was copy write. So likely throuh cmd in windows , I fix it.
