There are many issues with the touchscreen I'm sure. Touchscreen support in standard Linux desktops is pretty bad. This is one area that I think we can really improve on.
Okay, in that case I will make a touchscreen label where we will file all our touchscreen related issues.
This is an upstream issue. I was able to recreate the issue in GalliumOS, Linux Mint 17.3 and kUbuntu 15.10 on both my Acer C720P Chromebook and on my Lenovo Flex 3 14" (non-chrome 2-in-one).
Status?
Touchscreen will act on your primary desktop even if displays aren't mirrored, and sometimes switching between resolutions and extended/mirrored desktops breaks touchscreen a little in that it stops touchscreening.
