  1. Your Chromebook/Chromebox model hardware ID Banon Intel N3060 Braswell Acer Chromebook 15 (CB3-532) | BANON | 2016 | Intel Braswell[10] | Yes | Required[2] | - https://wiki.galliumos.org/Support/Braswell

  2. Your firmware: stock/factory, MattDevo, CoolStar, John Lewis, or other Vendor: coreboot Version: MrChromebox-4.12 Release Date: 06/06/2020

  3. Your installation method (ISO or chrx) and whether you're running a nightly build Full Firmware [UEFI] (all)

  4. A detailed description of the problem, and steps to reproduce it Having issues with latest grub. During initial installation, if the network is connected there's a grub error and the install fails. The work around is to not connect the network during install. Then for updates, "apt upgrade" "seems" to be safe, as the below grub packages are held back.

So for now I'm avoiding these below updates, to avoid having to reinstall again, or try to fix grub.

root@galliumos:~# apt list --upgradable Listing... Done grub-common/bionic-updates 2.02-2ubuntu8.19 amd64 [upgradable from: 2.02-2ubuntu8.14] grub-efi-amd64/bionic-updates 2.02-2ubuntu8.19 amd64 [upgradable from: 2.02-2ubuntu8.14] grub-efi-amd64-bin/bionic-updates 2.02-2ubuntu8.19 amd64 [upgradable from: 2.02-2ubuntu8.14] grub-efi-amd64-signed/unknown 1.93.20-galliumos1+2.02-2ubuntu8.18 amd64 [upgradable from: 1.93.15-galliumos1+2.02-2ubuntu8.14] grub-theme-starfield/bionic-updates 2.02-2ubuntu8.19 amd64 [upgradable from: 2.02-2ubuntu8.14] grub2-common/bionic-updates 2.02-2ubuntu8.19 amd64 [upgradable from: 2.02-2ubuntu8.14]

Good news. I've been able to overcome these issues by doing the following. I'm not sure which fixed it, but I'm now on the latest grub.
