Since the production AMIs have the entirety of nix-shell populated, this should never cause an issue on production. However, the staging environment might (and will) get hit by this. If we update nix-shell with smth that rebuilds something from SSITH gitlab-ext repos, it will give an error because the SSH key used by portal does not have access to the gitlab repos.
