No easily - you have to do a screen grab, which is mildly annoying but doable.

That's unfortunate. I'm thinking through how we can make flightgear videos accessible to users without a lot of setup/configuration. The only idea I have at the moment would be to stand-up a remote service that would run flight gear, screen capture, and send the video results back. Seems like overkill four our purpose though.

I think it is fair to say "if you want to have video, you have to install flight gear & some screen-grabbing program" We have scripts to do both, the nice thing is that you communicate with FG over UDP - so CSAF can run in a container or even at a different machine. Also, the screen grabs I did were huge, even for a relatively short video (you are after all recording an HD video).
