Gource skipping where it shouldn't!

I was visualizing my projekt using gource before and everything worked out 
perfectly fine!
Until i added a few commits that take time a long time before the most others. 
Now it's skipping by far too much! I have some commit ranging from 8th April to 
April 12th, which are not skipped. Then there are many commit from 27th April 
up to 9th May. These commit are skipped in a way that they are displayed within 
2 seconds (max-file-lag)! It continues at 29th May.

And that's not the only time Gource skips some logs.

I'm running this on Windows XP SP 3. Gource is: 0.40

Some information for the people saying I could disable the skipping:
It visualizes something about a year long. In the beginning there are huge gaps 
(one is over 4 months!)
And please fix this fast. I can't upload any videos anymore because of this!
