Permanent Phantom Armor That Can't Be Removed #1007

Open Brian-Voss opened 1 month ago

Brian-Voss commented 1 month ago

Describe the bug Armor stand vanishes and the armor is permanently left in place and cannot be removed.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Create a book and quill
2. Add each code under the "Toggles" section into it 1 per page
3. Add set of gear to the stand (it doesn't happen without gear)
4. Click the stand with the book

You will be left with a miniature rotating set of armor, no stand, and the game (NeoForge Foundry SkyFactory Edition v.05 but I don't think it matters other than it being a skyblock) thinks nothing is there. You can place blocks over them to hide them. The pic is of what remains and what's highlighted with "visible".

Expected behavior Armor stand remains in place.

Fix I have 0 clue. However, something is happening where the commands make the armor itself the stand? I'm not versed enough in commands/functions to see what's happening but I did try to remove the minecraft:armor_stand from the block space and it wasn't even there.

Environment

Additional context It's not a big deal as you can avoid the issues by shift right clicking a stand for the settings menu (I found it after the fact LOL) which works much better for me anyways.

o/ Thank you for submitting a bug report! Could you tell us which codes exactly you used?

I have a feeling that this is a modded issue, not a Gamemode 4 issue, but can't test without knowing the exact setup you had.

We don't add a settings menu that's activated by shift-right-clicking... do you have a mod installed that allows you to edit armor stands? If so, you should remove one of the two.
