To speed up the matches and minimize driving/walking logistics needs to be introduced.
This can be done in a few ways.
Create a system that offers realism and convenience by having the AI pick up any player that needs transport via helicopter/vehicle including airlifting vehicles near the front lines. This is difficult and the AI are almost suicidal with regards to combat awareness but it does offer the most "immersive" type play.
Open up fast travel / teleport options. The easiest way but least immersive is to open teleport from base/fob to friendly sectors; including all ground vehicles (you could offer a tiered approach, the more important a sector, the greater teleport options). This allows for large arenas, many more sectors, and keeps the game fun while avoiding the dread long drive/walk.
