I guess we can do all the other menus to have video backgrounds instead of 
static, not 
just the main menu. :)

A few animated frames would be good for the GH3 theme. It's just two pics that 
go 
back and forth. A video would be required for rb themes (i think) and such.

we can make animated backgrounds for the gameplay (using several large png 
images) so
why not the main menu?

it would be even better for video support, of course.

because gameplay and menu are two seperate things? the menu isnt programed to 
read 
multiple images

as in loading times? true, it would take a bit longer to load but it could be 
disabled (the background animation) like the stages.

I think he meant longer as in coding time... It will be a while before this 
gets done
because it will have to be coded, And unlike some of us on here the coders have 
real
lives.
