Still working fine for me, nothing has been changed in the late revisions.
Please be more specific: when do you get a code dump ? When the option is
turned ON in the menu ? When you go back to the game ? When you load a new game
?
Anyway, it might be possible that your BIOS.bin file have been corrupted, try
to replace it with a fresh copy.

Nope, it's working fine for me, having your compiled build won't help me figure
why it crashes. Just copy the last 2 lines of code that appears when the
exception occurs

go to select any game of the ntsc-u region im receiving a CD(code dump),well by
chance is there a certain directory the bios file needs to be placed in?does
the name of the file need to be named a certain name?do it need to be a certain
region?a certain file type?

I don't understand your last question.
about BIOS, read the documentation, it's supposed to be named BIOS.bin and
placed in the /genplus directory, along with config file and /roms, /saves, etc
if the BIOS file is not a proper genesis BIOS image, wrong thing can happen, yes

Scratch previous comment, the CORE dump shows that the emulator crashes while
processing cpu instructions in the ROM program. This happens because the BIOS
ROM is not a valid genesis binary image. I will add some proper ROM checks but
in the future, you should first read the user manual...
