(Rev. 98) Black Screen with music on 4.3u #86

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Start HBC
2.Boot SaveGame Manager GX
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the app working like it does on my other wii, I see a black
screen and hear the system menu music.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0098 and 4.3u

Please provide any additional information below.
I just want to move my Monster Hunter and Brawl saves from my old wii to my new
one. I soft modded it specifically for that reason. I briefly searched though
similar issues, but i didn't see one that involved system menu 4.3u.

Someone sent me an email that solved my problem. Here's what he/she posted

I have the same problem with savegame-manager-gx. I don’t think it’s the
card. I have a sandisk 8gb class4 card. I tried different version of
savegame-manager-gx and found that R095 was the last version to work, all
the versions after R095 produce the same black screen. You can get R095
from:
http://code.google.com/p/savegame-manager-gx/downloads/detail?name=R095.dol&can=
2&q=

Hope this helps.

Make sure there's pre existing save data for the game you want. And try it again

Have the same problem, and R095 also "solved" it for me.

Hello there, i solve the problem, just create a mii in the console then run
again the r98, seems to be a error with the error "no miis in wii memory".

i just run r95 install some saved miis then run r98 and works fine.

pd. before realize i did reinstall the IOS 249 using R17, r18, r20 (all base
IOS) and r21 (all base IOS) and no luck.

regards from Colombia
