Describe your Talk

obsidian is a note taking app build arounf the principles of privacy, malleability and portablity.

obsidian-smart-move-text is an offline plugin that intelligently classifies and move links/bookmarks into their respective categories. This talk discusses following:

  1. Obsidian - Introduction and principles
  2. Plugin Development in obsidian
  3. Motivation behind writing the plugin
  4. Algorithm discussion (Naive Bayes Classifier)
  5. Code walkthrough
  6. Future scope

Pre-requisites & reading material

Some knowledge of typescript/javascript and basic mathematics.

About you

Ankush Chander is a Research Engineer with focus on Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval. He completed his Masters degree from DA-IICT, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India in 2016. Post that he co-founded RAx (now Enago Read) where he primarily worked as Research Engineer from 2016 to 2023. Previously he has worked as a Web Developer in MothersonSumi Infotech & Design Ltd. He is also an Open source enthusiast and has contributed to projects like Pytextrank, Argilla, kglab.
