Thank you for submitting an issue for Link Map. To help us better understand your feedback, please fill out the following template(If you think it's too complicated, just write down whatever you want):

Description

Closing tab from Link Map window - with shortcut key or icon - does NOT close the tab in many cases. But it shows closed (dimmed) in the Map outline. Dbl-click again in map opens it as NEW tab, which creates a duplicate and seems Link Map loses its reference so it only shows the new one, while the prior tab is still open in the same window.

Steps to reproduce (if applicable)

I can't yet tell a difference between cases where it works as usual, vs when this issue happens. It has happened on windows where the Chrome icon for the window is dimmed, and also where it's full color. Anecdotally it seems more often to happen on windows that have been open a while (maybe after sleep/wake?).

Expected behavior

Closing tab from Link Map should close in browser but leave in the Link Map tree. Activating from Link Map should open the tree item and show it is still the focused one.

Actual behavior

Opening created new tabs, and closing shows closed in Link Map, but tab is still open in browser. This continues, creating as many duplicates as times I open. Also, closing from the browser the latest opened one will delete it from the Link Map tree, but none of the N-1 opened tabs have an effect on the tree.

Screenshots (if applicable)

See 2 attached.

Additional information

Pretty sure this happens on both Chrome and Edge. Though mostly using Edge for corporate policy. 01 LinkMap close but still open 02 LinkMap reopen node creates duplicate

Thank you for your feedback.
