Unable to Edit the Convars #45

I tried to edit the convars in the .GMA file with Notepad++, and after saving the changes it defaulted back to the normal (things such as light level, minimum players, and round time). How would I fix this?

Do not edit the convars file, you can set it in the console or create/edit server.cfg and put convars here.
