how can I load a KML file for show a map en my localhost?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. load a KML file in my localhost
2. after than i want to draw this route in the map

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect see a draw route over my map.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using Google API javascript v2 and operative systems windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
I want to generate a route over a map with google earth and export it to KML 
file, then I need to show it with my web portal, now I'm practice with that in 
a localhost but doesn't show the route over my map.
I would like anybody help me soon please!

without sample data? ... how do you expect somebody to look in to it?
I camt evem tell if you are using this parser here ... or googles parser and so 
on.

different browsers with differing security settings impact on this as well.
