I am getting this issue too. I opened a new defect (297) but then I located
this one in a search. Currently running Windows 7 64x and Java 1.6.0_16. I am
pretty sure I'm using 32x Java however which shouldn't matter (only if I was on
a 32x machine trying to use 64x Java... correct?).
What I've done so far...
1. Removed all version of Java
2. Downloaded and reinstalled latest Java VM from Sun.
3. Removed Notifier software using Revo, cleaned registry and removed directory
left-overs.
4. Installed MultiDroidNotifier-0.5.1-x86 into a fresh directory.
Still received error message.

Java 32-bit can run on both 32 and 64-bit operating systems but Java 64-bit can
only run on 64-bit OSes. The desktop app architecture must match Java
architecture.
You probably installed Java 64-bit, try MultiDroidNotifier-0.5.1-x86_64.exe.

Ok, I have both 32 and 64 bit Java running on the machine but it seems the file
you mentioned works (although I don't see an icon in the tray or anything).
However I am not getting notified even after I opened up port 10600 through my
firewall.
Thoughts?

Hi I had similar issue.
The log file (C:\Users\%USER_NAME%\.android\android-notifier-desktop)
2013-10-24 16:44:28,699 ERROR [ApplicationImpl] - Error starting SWT
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Could not load SWT library. Reasons:
no swt-win32-3703 in java.library.path
no swt-win32 in java.library.path
D:\Temp\swtlib-32\swt-win32-3703.dll: Access is denied
Can't load library: D:\Temp\swtlib-32\swt-win32.dll
The solution:
1. Find swtlib-32 folder with swt-gdip-win32-3703.dll & swt-win32-3703.dll
files (it should be stored in you temp folder)
2. Change permissions for these files or file or remove the folder
Now it's runs OK.
