not compatiable with HTC Desire HD on android 2.2 #314

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. But £500 phone
2. Download applications for mac and phone
3. Be dissapointed

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I intended it to work

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using android 2.2 on HTC desire HD and a macbook pro with growl and mac droid 
notifier.

Yeah, HTC phones don't work very well with bluetooth communication with Mac and 
Linux, consider buying a phone from a different manufacturer next time. My HTC 
Nexus One doesn't work with Ubuntu over bluetooth, luckily, I'm a Windows user 
:)

This compatibility issue is mentioned in BluetoothHowto
