Create a simplified design for a JS implementation. Here are the core features to be discussed.

Create a working text editor

Ribbon (User Interface): Home: (basic text editing, changing font, bolding, indentation) Insert: (pictures, tables, charts, etc.) Draw: (free form drawing, separate from insert) Edit: (spell check, thesaurus, revisions) View: (margins, toggling comments on or off, toggling off viewing widgets)

Annotations: In-text Comments (just text comments, no audio) Moving Comments Around

Participants: Adding Users, Removing Users Managing Permissions

Sources: Adding Sources Generating Works Cited

Versioning: Backup Viewing a backup Restoring a backup

okay, the simplified prototype has been made. during the meeting tomorrow, anybody who will work on the JS prototype will need to give me their dropbox email to share the prototype folder

I'll leave the issue open for now.
