I was reviewing a geoscience nova scotia metadata record in the Metadata Editor in full detail mode. The UUID for the metadata record itself is in a strange place - right underneath the Thesaurus section (where we would enter the thesaurus info) Not sure why its located there - it disappears when I unselect "more details view".
I723f6998-058e-11dc-8314-0800200c9a66 is the UUID
Another alarming thing is that the field is editable - i would think that once the metadata record was assigned (during the record import) that it would NOT be editable thereafter. But perhaps theres a reason why it would be? Just dangerous because I could easily edit it by accident. not what we want.
Will explore further but wanted to document this as a known issue.
