Where is the Ports Menu ? #403

I just bought an assembled Arducopter...and a brand new Asus laptop, running
Windows 7. Now admittedly, I'm a hard core Mac User, but I am trying to
carefully follow the instructions on installing the Mega Planner software, and
the firmware, etc.

For the life of me, I cannot find the "Ports" item (under the Device Manager)
on either the new Windows 7 laptop... or on my Windows XP Pro (on a MacBook
Pro, running under BootCamp)

What am I missing... and where are the "Ports" setting hiding ?

O.K... I found a tutorial on running an "Administrator Hardware Install" code
through the Start menu, and now the Arduino Mega 2560 shows up on Com Port 3.
That's the good news... the bad news is that in the Device Manager item for the
Arduino it says "This Device Cannot Start - Code 10".

I tried reinstalling the driver, but get the same result...

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
