The value of battery consumption in mAh is not transferred via MAVLINK, so
can't be displayed. The percentage reading really gives you the same
information, it is just that it has been scaled to a percentage based on the
battery capacity you selected. This is the same as with MAVLINK 0.9 and
previous releases of the mission planner. I have to admit that I prefer the
percentage.

Battery current (in Amperes) was not transferred in MAVLINK 0.9, but is in 1.0
with the latest 2.6 code in the repository (although not in the load accessible
via the mission planner as of 26-Jun-12, but presumably next time it is built).
The value is not currently being displayed.
