Can't find Coursera server #21

Open illuzioner opened 7 years ago

illuzioner commented 7 years ago

I try to add a course and select Coursera, and dial spins and says it cannot find the server and that I have no internet connection. I do have a good connection and I can get on to the Coursera site just fine.

Additionally, it is very difficult to navigate this program. I have no idea how to switch between course providers.

Please have a look at #1 for the solution I am working on a permanent fix.

Add courses you are studying to the "My Courses" section and switch courses from there.

@Gautamji , please take a look at this. theres no option for borg

I just looked it up in the documentation; this is what is written there :

path/Library/Application Support/applicationid/Local Store (AIR 3.3 and later), where path is is either /Users/userName/Library/Containers/bundle-id/Data (sandboxed environment) or /Users/userName (when running outside a sandboxed environment)

so,

/Users/userName/Library/Containers/bundle-id/Data/Library/Application Support/com.gautamji.borg/Local Store or /Users/userName/Library/Application Support/com.gautamji.borg/Local Store

other than this, if you still can't find the folder check here (I don't think it will be here) /Users/userName/Library/Preferences/com.gautamji.borg/Local Store

Please reply via github when you attach screenshots. Otherwise they are not attached. Try this :

  1. Open finder
  2. Press CMD+SHIFT+G
  3. put this in the field : ~/Library/Application Support/com.gautamji.borg/Local Store

If this also does not work, then I don't know what the problem is. Because this is the default folder where Borg stores preferences on Mac. I will include a shortlink inside borg itself to open this folder in the coming version. and also solve this problem at its root, so that these steps won't be needed.
