Changing template settings deletes the params in Mysql database #205

Hi, when I try and change the template settings in the back end I receive a positive change message but the template returns to a blank state. On checking the Mysql database - "templates_styles" the params have all been deleted.

I can paste the original params back in to the Mysql database but when I do an update it deletes the params again. Any thoughts appreciated.
