rsync problems #122

Hi Dean!

I saw that you have updated macports-wine with devel 9.8 but not brew (yet)

I am trying to install and run port -v sync after cloning your files into my file system. Am I supposed to create a Portfile for your repository?

This is what I get:

Do you plan on updating the brew repository also? Or should I work through the issues I am having with MacPorts?

You’ve misconfigured sources.conf, if you’d done what was recommended in the readme you’d have added

file:///opt/macports-wine

Then the command would work correctly.



The actual Winehq packages will be built and uploaded tomorrow. These package contain additional patches where as macports-wine currently doesn't contain the required rosetta2 patchesets.

Thanks. I changed locations for where I wanted to put macports-wine and I had the sources.conf including the root “ports” directory.
