I recently tested the opposite situation (everdrive holding the save and ezflash the homebrew) and do the same thing.
I think it's a power draw issue from the flashcarts when it holds the game (don't allow hotswap)
Also... I tested Lorenzo's Gen3 to GenX and do the same thing... I must use the "Send Multiboot" option from another GBA to make it work 😞
Also @GearsProgress for thos case, it will be good to add an option like this, like the lorenzo homebrew.
This could help people that only have flashcarts :)
That's not a bad idea! I'll add it to the list of things to look into :)
Thank you!!
Hi, I'm trying to setup Poke Transporter here, but idk if it works or not like this.
I have two GBA flashcarts here, an EZ Flash Omega DE and an Everdrive GBA Mini.
I put my EZ Flash on Mode B with Pokemon Emerald loaded, and boot Poke Transporter on Everdrive (just load the rom holding L on this cart didn't let me load the rom).
These are the steps that I'm following: 1 - boot the homebrew from my everdrive (just selecting the rom. I'm not using quick boot) 2 - after the homebrew loads, Press A and the homebrew asks to remove the cartridge and insert my ez flash with Pokemon on B mode 3 - As soon I insert my EZ flash, my console reboots immediately
idk if it's a power issue from the flash carts or what :( of if poke transfer only works with aftermarket/original carts
