The semesters options automatically come out of the database, they'll be there when we add data to it.
Still thinking about the application fees --- just trying to get the application working first.

Couple of comments on wording and whatnot:
The application below is designed for us to get to know you better and to select the perfect group of students for each of our cohorts. We will review your application and respond to let you know if you have been selected for an interview within a few short weeks. Interviews with short-listed applicants will be conducted over Google Hangouts as a final stage in the application.

What do you want [to get] out of this Fellowship?
You may optionally provide a link to a short video introducing yourself and -for- making a case [for] why you should be part of the next GeekChic Fellowship. Short and simple is fine, about three minutes, and we're more interested in content than quality.
We'll need to add some text in explaining the application fee. Something like: We are charging a $50 application fee to ensure that only serious candidates apply for the GeekChic Fellowship. Once you submit your application, you will be provided with a discount code that can be used toward any of our GeekChic Workshops. We encourage all applicants to attend a workshop in advance for an introduction to programming and to GeekChic!
