Req: weather config options #27

For Christmas I bought a Geekmagic Pro because the weather seemed really cool. And it is! Now I'm wondering if there are ways to improve this. For example, take a look at this, which is also using Openweathermap and has a 64 x 64 display.

I'm not saying steal this UI - your display is a LOT better. : ) But could you give us a way to change the elements or give us other options for the weather display? I'd happily get rid of the clock/city/GIF to get more weather info, like

bigger "current conditions"
"will it rain in the next hour"
hourly Temps
icon of hourly conditions (cloudy/sunny/rainy, like the tiny icon in the upper right)

(I'm also wondering if some of the Apple Watch Widgets give any inspiration.)

Hi, first thank you for the details, I have to confess there's protential to add more weather display, because people's focus point may be different, someone need this and someone need that. I have record your advice, and let's see what we can do in future updates.

By the way, it is strongly recommended that product users could express their opinions. which part you like it or not. We will continue to improve the firmware based on user feedback. Thank you!

Thanks! Maybe it's too much for that little CPU to handle (was looking at one of the other tickets), but giving us config options would be awesome. I'm currently trying to figure out how I can use a graphing library to make a GIF from the openweathermap 3-hour forecast, then to the TvPro and upload a new GIF via a CURL. : )

The weather app is great, but the ability to customize would be even better. For example, a screen with just a weather view or weather forecasts, or simply the ability to decide what data should be displayed in what color, larger weather icons, etc.

By the way, there are some icons whose white border looks a bit ugly. I don't know if you have any influence on that. If you need help for custom weather icons or UI ideas, I can help you (Industrial and graphic designer)
