Time PST issue #74

Open wileysnake opened 3 months ago

wileysnake commented 3 months ago

Where does this device pull the time? Currently located Los Angeles California USA PST. It's 3:30pm and the unit displays 17:41. Occasionally re-selecting the check box for the non-default 12 hour zone with a reboot sometimes resolves.

For the time difference of 2 hours, I've verified our WIFI router DHCP time, I've tired CalTech, Google, GOVT NTP servers, deleted the server, rebooted, I can't get the darn time to reflect properly.

Stock quotes, photos, working just fine.

In the process of setting up AIDA64 to test the monitoring.

But the TIME is driving me nuts. What am I missing?

Time as of this message is 10:40am Pacific Time Los Angeles California USA Time on the Clock Pro unit is 12:40pm NPT is 0.us.pool.ntp.org Firmware is Model: GeekMagic SmallTV-PRO,Version: V3.2.35EN

In the process of setting up monitoring, all other functions are working.

Appreciate the follow up.

At the weather tab, enter city code and save it.

Enter the Weather interface on the device, by using the touch button on top of the device.

Or through management interface, by clicking system --> enter/exit --> (left/right) --> enter/exit.

On opening the weather interface, the device will connect to openweathermap.org and set the timezone that matches the city code you have entered. Next boot it will remember timezone and use NTP or Http to sync time.
