Occasional restart or fallback to the menu #78

Hello :)

What could be the reason for the device occasionally restarting or "falling back" into the main menu? The device sits freely on my desk without beeing touched or covered by anything and is showing the weather app. But from time to time it makes a restart or goes back to the menu and the weater menu icon is shown. I have already tried various USB-C cables and alternative power sources - the problem still occurs occasionally. Are there any known interferences that could cause this phenomenon or something else that could be considered?

@GeekMagicClock I'm running on V3.2.40EN but the problem has been there before... Don't know exactly since when :/

OK, i'm checking, what is your city settings? I'll try to reproduce. The temporary solution is that you can set weather to automatically start at boot in the system settings.

Thanks for your invesigation! My city code is set to 2867838 and is shown correctly as "Mülheim" in DE (Germany). In system settings the auto start app is set to weather and this works properly. After the reboots it mostly shows the weather screen, although sometimes with missing weather informations. But occasional it just goes one step reverse - as if you would have hold the sensor for a second. I thought of things like static electricity, interferences with wlan, bluetooth, mmwave, radio or so, that could simulate the "touch" - but that would not solve the mysterious reboots... I clould try to record a usb power log if that would help reproducing the reboots - maybe it captures something ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Unfortunately there is no visible fluctuation in power consumption - apart from some minor spikes, the pattern of approximately 1sec around 0,05A and 1sec around 0,16A repeats itself. These are snapshots of two different powersources. P2 P1

Hi, I tested your code here, works fine for about 15hours now on version V3.3.41, would you mind update to that version? That maybe not a power issue.
